L-O-V-E

Love- It's a thing everybody likes to talk about. The feelings we have for another person. But is love just a feeling or is it something more? Is it just the flowers, the candy, the kisses and affection someone gives to you? Let's look at this from a Christian point of view.

1Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

My teacher in highschool always told us that love is a chioce. It's not the emotional high we get from the other person. It is selfless. Love makes one want to do so much for the other person that you forget about yourself. It is complete dedication that other person. Things may not work out, but still you want the other person to be happy whatever happens to them or wherever they go.

I may not know too much about this subject, but I do know that I when that right person comes along, I want 1st Corithians to fit into my life. I do no want just an emotion, but true and selfless love

Sarah! I did a blog on love to. I really like yours. I love that passage. Love is sometimes a hard thing to understand.I liked the way you applied it to your life. If you guard you heart from loving the wrong person than I know when the right one to love comes along, you will have that perfect love.
